Are there any plans for a diffuser for photon V2

Hello,

Since the main issue with any LED light is the coverage (and to some extend disco ball effect), are there any plans for diffusers for photon lights?

I know this will cause a drop in the PAR values that the tank receives. But since most of us dont run the lights at 100% power anyways, it can be compensated by bumping up the power a bit more.

Hi,

Can you provide more details? How high are your lights off of the water, and what size is your tank? Raising the light several inches has the same effect as adding a diffuser.

I have a 32V2 .It is about ~6.5 inches off the water. The tank is 36 inches long, 18 inches wide and 16 inches deep.

Is it possible to raise the light any higher? Say 8-10" off of the water?

Our lights already spread the LEDs out in a matrix pattern- so there really isn't much need for a diffuser- our lights already have a very even PAR spread.
