Unusual Elegance Behavior

I picked up an elegance at Reefapoloza Orlando in early April and it has been opening up and eating well since day one. Today I came home and the elegance was open and plump but part of it had dislodged itself from it's skeleton. I called a local and respected coral store who thinks the elegance is reproducing but I would like to get your good peoples opinion as well.

If you haven't already you might want to look into "Polyp Bailout."
