Leather Shedding Frequently

I have this beautiful Australian Toadstool that I purchased about 2 months ago at 3" across (now 4"). It just completed a shedding cycle about a week ago, growing nicely, and I woke up this morning to another shiny/waxy film on the coral. I'm assuming it's started yet another shedding cycle, it's third each cycle has lasted 1-2 weeks.

Is it normal for leathers to shed this frequently?

Tank is a 30 gallon long (IM Nuvo, no AIO) with 20 gallon sump. My water params are ideal, skim dry, run GAC and Pond Matrix, chaeto in fuge. Most major recent change in the tank was adding a third AI Prime HD to minimize/eliminate shadows throughout the tank.

All other corals (bunch of acro/monti SPS, hammer coral, two gonis, a couple of anemones, zoas, GSP, ricordia, etc) are all open and happy. I moderately feed the fish once per day.

The only thing I can think that might be bothering the leather is that it's a couple inches away from my Malu anemone which seems to be content. Could they be waging chemical warfare?

possibly could use more flow and it will speed up the shedding or you may never see it even happen again...

Mine also shed more when I first introduced could just be settling in..

Thanks for the feedback, changed my gyre's flow schedule / intensity and it definitely shortened this shedding cycle, the polyps are already bursting out after 3 days.
