Can I dose my Alk at this time?

My little tank only takes up 4ml of Alk (i think, still trying to figure it out). At night the PH goes way down so can I dose 2ml at 4am and 2ml at 10am?

Thanks.

I don’t think think it really matters when you dose that small amount. Your pH is going to drop like that every night, no matter what you dose or when, so dosing twice is just making more work for you.

I guess that makes sense. Kinda new to dosing so I didn't know if I should space it out or just do it all at one time.

Dosing the smaller amounts does make the alk increase easier on corals.

if you are looking to reduce PH swings, running a macro algae fuge on the opposite light cycle can help with that, you may not eliminate them completely but having photosynthesis happening opposite to the DT can help minimize it.
